A Day Trip

Brad has been doing a lot of paperwork lately so yesterday we decided to take a day trip. We jumped in the Jeep and just drove around the island to see what we could see.

Very quiet and calm harbour

Those are Sun rays though it looks like mesh

Resting by the waterfront

Now that's a houseboat! Even has a greenhouse.

This one reminds me of a 'floating house' we looked at in Ottawa a while back. I still like the idea of living in a houseboat or floating house.

Government wharf mooring

A different perspective of Mt. Maxwell where we went a week or so ago.

The Government wharf

Love this stone house. It appears to be abandoned now but build in 1904 it likely has some stories to tell.

    1. We have been very fortunate with the weather for sure. I'm told the rains are coming though.

  4. Last time we were on the island was just for a day, back in 2011. Hope to visit again in the spring of 2020. I have a cousin there, that I haven't seen in at least 40 years, would be nice to look him if we can.

Finally got the comment notification issue sorted out. Apparently Blogger has been having an issues and it wasn't just me. I had to remove my email address from the notification setting and then add it back on, approve the notifications and voila. July 3/18
